On your device
Local preferences and drafts
Theme preference and Wall of Memories drafts may be stored in your browser’s local storage. Those drafts remain on that device unless you clear browser data. The current memory wall does not upload or publish them.
On the network
Basic delivery data
Like most websites, the hosting layer may process limited request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser details, requested path, and timestamps. Soup Imitation does not currently require an advertising identifier or account profile for core features. Optional browser performance analytics remain disabled until you explicitly enable them.
Your controls
Clear or decline local storage
You can remove local drafts from the memory wall or clear this site’s stored data through your browser settings. Blocking local storage may prevent drafts or theme choices from persisting, but recipe reading remains available.
Scope
Independent archive
This notice covers Soup Imitation itself. Links to archival or third-party sources are governed by those sites’ own privacy practices. This notice and the consent model must be reviewed before adding another tracker, account system, or remote synchronization feature.
Consent controls
Optional purposes begin off
A versioned consent record stores your necessary, analytics, and marketing choices on this device. Analytics and marketing begin disabled. Use the persistent Privacy choices button to revise them. Essential reading and interactive features remain available when optional purposes are rejected.
Performance analytics
Cloudflare beacon by permission only
When a public site token is configured and you enable analytics, the site may load Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and performance. The application does not load that browser beacon before consent. Cloudflare may separately process request data at the network edge to deliver and protect the site.
Seasonal alerts
Explicit newsletter enrollment
Newsletter signup requires an email address and a separate marketing-consent checkbox. The form remains disabled when no provider is configured. If enabled, the provider receives the address only after submission; its retention and unsubscribe terms must be reviewed before launch.
Sponsored links
Disclosure without tracking scripts
Optional equipment links render only when configured, carry a sponsored-link label, and state that a qualifying purchase may support the archive. No behavioral advertising script, pixel, or iframe is included in this build.
